When I got up this morning at 5:30, I was sure it was going to be another long, tiring day. It probably will be but good things have happened since I got up and I’m not going to care how long the day is.

The first being of significance. I’m sure anyone with children can relate to this. About a week ago, our son’s kitten vanished. We saw him just before we got on the bus to go to school and then nothing. This morning I get up, go in the kitchen and hear this howling at the door. Still don’t know what made me go and open it, but I did and in limps the cream colored tabby cat we named Creamo. He’s battered, bruised, and half-starved but he’s alive and home. My son was so excited he got out of bed and is wide awake holding him.

The second thing is, I checked my email and low and behold the partial manuscript I’d sent off to a publisher was sent back to me with a note.  I’m quoting her here, but this is what she said, “Consider this a request for the full manuscript when it is finished” Endquote.

No matter what happens, no matter what I don’t get done…today is a good day and I’m thankful for it.
